Linville Falls: Erwins View Trail packing checklist
A short, popular walk on the Blue Ridge Parkway to four overlooks of Linville Falls and the start of Linville Gorge, at its best when the leaves turn in fall. Hurricane Helene damage still keeps the trail to the base of the falls closed, and wet leaves, steep drop-offs and black bears are the main things to plan for.
